Yoga exercises consist of:

regular breathing (Pranajama)

meditation (concentration)

position of the body (Asana)

Through Yoga practice we give equal attention to all three parts. Concentration cannot be practiced without the body being in a specific position (Asana) and breathing, nor can we breath or sustain the body in a particular position if we are not concentrated on the position.

To carry out the specific Asana we supply blood flow to the brain in that way we increase our mental capabilities. Strengthening the spine and its muscles, we also strengthen the nerves that go through the spinal cord, and with that we achieve mental and physical health.
